Jeckyll is similar to MkDocs and is used to create static websites from markdown, HTML, and other formats as input. Whereas MkDocs focuses on typical documentation, Jeckyll also has additional features, such as for blogging. Jeckyll is the built-in tool used to serve GitHub Pages.
